THEME: Africa’s Digital Future
To apply, please fill out this form.
In a document titled “Our Common Agenda,” the United Nations (UN) Secretary General proposed the Global Digital Compact (GDC).
The GDC’s goal is to “address risks that digital technologies may present to human rights, issues with data governance and protection, connectivity, digital divides, data empowerment, and digital public goods, as well as many other problems that will affect our use of technology in the future”.
The GDC would make it possible for us to create an open, free, safe, and inclusive digital future. Consequently, the UN is welcoming expert consultations through submissions as contributions to the GDC.
The GDC is an opportunity for every individual to share their insight on the digital future which they envision for Africa. Following this, E4E is pleased to announce the call for applications for our second fellowship with the theme: Africa’s Digital Future.
